About CARE
CARE is a nonprofit organization founded by psychologist Dr. Adriana Faur, PhD. CARE aims to promote advocacy, peer and caregiver support and therapy services to individuals and families affected by autism and other neurodevelopmental disabilities.
Our team is dedicated to providing culturally sensitive care. We deeply value the diverse backgrounds and experiences of our clients, and we strive to create an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome. We are neuroaffirming and LGBTQIA+ affirming, recognizing unique challenges and oppression faced. We provide a safe space where clients can explore their identities and receive the support they need to thrive.
We are passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of our clients, and are dedicated to continuous learning and improvement. We believe in the power of community and collaboration. Our non-profit works closely with schools, healthcare providers, and other community organizations to create a network of support for our clients. We are committed to advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders and we strive to raise awareness and promote understanding within the broader community.
In summary, we are a small non-profit, with a big goal of making a difference in the lives of our clients! We are committed to accessibility, inclusivity, and continuous improvement. We are honored to b e a part of your support team!
